My Dream, My Battle

In hand holds a mantle
In starting l call little
In ending l aim for a title
My dream, my battle
My name is bentil
The sun burns but the meteorologist says its shines
Hell fire rehearsal we do each day in my continent.

The very Men l look to for hopes warmth faces hides
On the desert of tomorrows certainty my hearts says “u are  fine”
l’m not but who cares.
Frustration shows to my face a red venomous wine
I asked why?
And he says but it’s a toxi wine why?
‘Drink it and u will die to live’
Deal but l refuse to dial defect
My dream will not die and even though l battle!
Hope is in know!
Know is in the faith!
Faith is God!
God is the truth!
The truth is my future!
My future is my dream!
Neon now owns matrix!
And so can l own the dream!

Betil’s mental battles
Like the prodigal son l dine with the swans
Hopes twine
The mind believes
The heart accepts and receives
I am a living being with a living purpose
My dream, my battle
My battle, my title

Yesterday is gone
Today the colour bird shows its beautiful feathers in the skies chamber.
The river once polluted is now crystal to taste
The down casted is now up shouts
The falling is rising!
The die is living!
The last is winning!
The darkness is light!
The hopeless is hopeful!
The deserted is accepted!
The story has change!
A new song l sing!
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah it over!!!
The pain is gone!
The fine l have paid!
The gain l have regained!
My dream, my battle is over
Thank you father.

More coming soon….watch this space

The Maiden Woman 2.1 Summit was at Kumasi in 2009, it is celebrated due it its transformative, Inspirational and Business support it has given attendees over the years. And it is by Far one outstanding summit that does not conflict women against men, but pushes the 22st Century woman to stand equally tall like the man.

WORD

life in this world is a great struggle

Some are Rich others are poor

Is it the will of an individual to be poor?

Some are fortunate to be born with Silver Spoon in their mouth

Others have also struggled to put silver spoons in their mouth, some don’t even have the spoons not to talk of the type

Hmmmmm its hard to think of situations like this but don’t try to because you’ll not understand

Some sleep whiles money works for them

Others just forget about sleep in order to work hard enough for money

Again is it a curse to be poor? but i taught we are each others keeper…well

Would You Smile For Me

Would you smile for me?  For me to see you smile

There is a fairy tale couple that I know, I wonder if love will ever grow old

See that lady love the man with all her heart, he treats her not so smiles oo ooo

If I could reach into his heart and make him be a better person it would be a dream come through for me, but I know that it’s impossible so I only hope that he would look at her and say, some day

Oooo I love you and I want to see you smile, could you smile for me? oooo I love you and I want to see you smile…. Smile for me ah aaahh aah… ah aaahh aah

A little boy is trying to be as smart as he can, trying to please a little old friend aaah ah but is seems as if she never ever notice it and so he loses focus oo ooooo

If I could reach into her heart and let her be a better person it would be a dream come through for me, but I know that it’s impossible so I only hopet she would look at him and say, some day

Oooo I love you and I want to see you smile, Could you smile for me….

oooo I love you and I want to see you smile   2x

Could you smile? 2x

This song lyrics was originally written by Stephenson Duane. I love the track  itself  so much and i trust you’ll also do same when you hear the track.

IQ4News Expands to Nigeria and South Africa

166587_10150156370168222_645671_n
IQ4News, Africa’s innovative online journalism organisation, has expanded its news and analysis offerings to Nigeria and South Africa.

“For the past year or so we have focused primarily on the East African market, especially Kenya,” said Dr Yemisi Akinbobola, founder and editor-in-chief of IQ4News. “We recognise the pivotal role that Nigeria and South Africa play on the African continent, and we have responded to this by recruiting exceptionally talented online journalists in both countries”.

Covering news from Nigeria, Iliya Kure is a seasoned radio journalist with experience with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), as well as freelance work with the Voice of America (VOA). He has also previously worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), and is a mass communication graduate of the University of Maiduguri. Kure was a 2009 Ford Foundation/Devcomms Fellow, and was the recipient of the 2008 Health Performance Award for a series of reports on polio and other health reports.

“I am delighted to join the growing team at IQ4News,” said Kure. “I believe the company has the potential to initiate much needed innovation in the news media industry in Nigeria and across the continent”.

Media consultant and TV producer, Dan Akinlolu, will be leading IQ4NewsTV content from South Africa. Dan’s productions have enjoyed national and international broadcast, and alongside his filmmaking achievements, he is also an award-winning creative writer.

“I am very excited about the video projects we have at IQ4News,” said Dan. “IQ4News is a growing organisation and I believe that gives it room to try out new and innovative formats for the web”.

Africa has seen a rise in the emergence of online news organisations in the past decade, and this has facilitated greater access to news, not just in relation to the medium through which news is consumed, but also in terms of the kind of news that is made available to the public.

“This is an exciting period for journalism in Africa,” said Joab Apollo, IQ4News journalist, Kenya. “IQ4News has a big role to play in ensuring that the momentum is not lost”.

Recognising the important role that social media and user participation plays in the industry, social media and contributor management manager, Kofi Yeboah, will be advancing IQ4News’ presence on social networking sites, as well as managing how IQ4News interacts with its contributors.

“User generated content was part of the original business model for IQ4News, and we do not want to lose sight of our interaction with our users and contributors,” said Kofi, who is also a final year student at Cape Coast University, Ghana.
